Quick Update!

 

 

I’ve been here in Gainesville for about 3 weeks now- its hard to believe how fast this year has gone! I go to class everyday with my 15 other CGA ‘apprentices’. We are currently learning about the commandment to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and how to put that into action- of course, how that applies to leading myself and others well!

 

Many of you know, last September is when I left for my gap year with the World Race.. Needless to say, my housemates and I have been feeling very nostalgic this week!

 

I am overwhelmingly grateful for all God has done in the last year, and for all he is continuing to do right now-

 

I am set free

 

I am made new each morning

 

I love continuing to grow with God everyday, seeking Him in new ways every day.

 

2 Corinthians 3:18
 
(NLT) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
 
(MSG) Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
