Hey y’all!
These past few weeks, we have been transitioning through leading ourselves towards leading others. We have had some really dope leaders come in and talk to us about their leading experiences and decision making. I have been able to put this to practice by leading Young Life/Wyld Life.
Last night I got to bring the word at WyldLife club- I talked about Luke 15, the lost coin parable. I got to share with these middle schoolers about how God is searching and chasing after them, and how He and the angels rejoice when they ask for forgiveness and talk to Jesus. It went so well!! It was short and good, I am so excited about it! It went much better than the last time I preached on the race.. so thank God for growth in confidence and public speaking!
These days, I work at Starbucks (I am a barista now!), go to class, and continue to meet up with my YL/WL friends. Life is so good right now- community, class, ministry, and the weather (!!). Especially my relationship with God.
I am continuing to walk into greater depths with him, and it has been very tender- a side of myself I have only just begun to explore. I am learning to more intentionally shape may day around my fostering me and Jesus’ relationship. His tenderness in my heart, places I didn’t know were there, a Sarah I am getting to know.
I am really uncomfortable and really pushing in, and I know it will be worth it.
So, I will continue to be in CGA through mid December- We have an upcoming capstone trip in 4 weeks, and we can only go if we are fully funded as a class. We will, God willing, be going to Louisiana to do hurricane relief work with Samaritan’s Purse. Please consider donating, I am praying to be fully funded in the next week! Please, don’t hesitate to reach out, questions and catch up conversations alike!
thank you for continually following my journey, it is an honor to be in this position God has placed me in.
I love you all, near and far, brothers and sisters in Christ.
